If you’ve never used Benton Snail Bee Steam Cream before, you might be wondering how effective it is for your skin type. Honestly, it’s one of my favorite moisturizing creams. I’ve used Benton Snail Bee Steam Cream through various skin types I’ve had (did you know your skin type can change depending on environmental changes, weather, hormones, stress and other life changes?), and it works on all skin types to add moisture to your skin and support skin brightening, fading dark spots, and more. But, guess what? If you have another skin type, from normal to oily, this is is still a product to try.

Benton Snail Bee Steam Cream - koglow.comHow it Works

The best thing about Benton Snail Bee Steam Cream is that it uses powerful ingredients instead of water. There’s 90% total of both snail extract and bee venom in place of the water. Actual numbers are 64% of snail secretion (wrinkle smoothing, moisturizing, firming (learn more about the benefits of snail secretion)) and the rest is bee venom (anti-bacterial, anti-inflammatory, anti-viral, EGF (Epidermal Growth Factor which is a growth factor that stimulates cell growth), and hyalunonate (treats  wounds).

The products combine to give you an amazing hydration, help heal acne wounds and scars, and brighten your skin.

Due to the snail secretion which has hyaluronic acid, I classify Benton Snail Bee Steam Cream as a humectant. A humectant is basically the pillar of moisturization and a favorite class of moisturizers in Korean skin care. Humectants attract and hold water from nearby sources, like the deepest laters of your skin and the air. Applying a humectant adds a lot of moisture and hyaluronic acid adds short term skin plumping effects.

From the first few days of using Benton Snail Bee Steam Cream, I noticed increased moisture in my skin. Having dehydrated combination skin, I often see flakes and flaky dry patches appear under my make up. This moisturizer helped cut the flakes, but it didn’t take it away completely. I did notice that if I stopped using it for any time, my skin went right back to being flaky under make up. So, know that consistency is key to this product. You will see results while you use it, you’ll see improved moisture, firmness, and gradually (and possibly more by using the Benton Snail Bee line) you’ll see acne scars reduced.

If you stop using it, your skin will go right back to its natural state. Such is the life of us beauty lovers. :\

Get it, no matter your skin type.

The total ingredients in Benton Snail Bee Steam Cream makes it a product you should add to your routine. It’s overall a good product, but be aware that bee venom and snail secretion filtrate can cause allergic reactions. Be sure that you can handle these ingredients, and while doing your usual routine, wait 15-20 minutes before applying the Steam Cream on top of other products if you have sensitivity.
